12.14.16Samantha Jacobs is a corporate communications and public relations strategist who has represented clients in a variety of industries including travel and tourism, hospitality, cruise, travel distribution/travel agency, consumer packaged goods, retail, wellness, sports and leisure, health and beauty, publishing and more. Samantha’s career spans more than 15 years in public relations, marketing and communications, including working as a senior-level executive for top-ranked PR agencies and corporations. Most recently, Samantha served as associate partner for Finn Partners and before that, was the first-ever director of public relations for World Travel Holdings’ CruiseOne & Cruises Inc. brands. In that role, she worked directly with the global travel distributor’s leadership team to craft an integrated B2B and B2C marketing and public relations strategy. This included developing the companies’ first-ever travel agent media training program and spokesperson team, conducting training sessions at agency regionals, hosting a group of A-list media onboard the companies’ joint annual National Conference five years running, and creating unique programs like “Pink Slip Paybacks” and “Operation Vetrepreneur” that helped the franchise and host agency models grow exponentially year after year. In that position, she also handled executive speechwriting, trade show development/media relations, rewrote the companies’ websites and managed thought leadership opportunities for WTH leadership. bioPrior to joining World Travel Holdings, Samantha worked in management positions for several top-rated New York City- and Baltimore-based public relations agencies. She began her career in the New York City headquarters of ABC News/Good Morning America. A seasoned, well-rounded marketing, communications and public relations counselor, Samantha’s bread and butter is her media relations expertise, with a rolodex of A-list journalists that has garnered widespread exposure for countless clients in outlets like CNN, USA Today, Good Morning America, The Wall Street Journal, Cruise Critic, Redbook, Self, Shape, InStyle, Conde Nast Traveler, National Geographic, Travel + Leisure and many more, including virtually every imaginable travel and tourism, hospitality, F&B and sports industry trade/business publication. Samantha graduated from Mary Baldwin College in Virginia, with a dual degree in Communications and Sociology. A proud mother of two, Samantha is an active member of the South Florida business and philanthropic communities, serving on boards for The American Cancer Society and the Greater Sunrise Chamber of Commerce.
