Carter Long

 

A native of Florida, Carter Long is now an account supervisor in Hemsworth Communications’ Atlanta office.

Prior to joining the team at Hemsworth, Carter worked as the marketing manager for the Emory Group. In that role, she developed and implemented the company’s marketing strategy, created content and managed the social media platforms. She also served as the company’s brand manager where she assisted in both internal and external communication to drive sales and increase customer loyalty.

Preceding the Emory Group, Carter worked for The Zimmerman Agency where she managed the public relations efforts for three leading resorts in Florida – Little Palm Island, Ocean Key Resort & Spa and LaPlaya Beach & Golf Resort – as well as the corporate account for Noble House Hotels & Resorts. During her years of professional agency experience, she gained experience in traditional and digital media, broadcast, project management, promotions and social media. Carter also served as an on-air spokesperson for Party City.

Before starting her career in the public relations field, she worked in sales, and credits that job for instilling the importance of goal setting and the need to be results-driven.

Carter received her B.S. in Advertising from The University of Florida and studied abroad in Italy with Florida State University’s International Program.
